Every Fortune Gems 2 write-up quotes an RTP and moves on. Two numbers are circulating — 94.38% on TaDa's own product page, 97% on nearly every review site that copied the last one. Neither figure sits on the JILI card. That gap tells you more about how this market writes copy than any highlight reel does.

What Fortune Gems 2 is

Fortune Gems 2 is a compact temple-and-gems slot: a 3×3 grid, five fixed paylines, and a fourth strip — the special reel — sitting beside the main board. That extra reel does one of two things on a winning spin: multiply the line payout, or land a wheel icon that sends the round to the Lucky Wheel. There is no free-spins round waiting behind a scatter. Spin, watch the special reel settle, take the result.

This site is an independent guide for adults (21+). It is not a JILI or TaDa storefront and it is not a casino — cash links route through /go/ only, never mid-paragraph.

If you already know the original Fortune Gems, this sequel keeps the same grid grammar and bolts on the wheel. The differences that matter are on Fortune Gems vs Fortune Gems 2; this page just needs you oriented.

JILI and TaDa — one game, two names

Philippines lobbies almost always list this title under JILI Games. Search the same product ID — 223 — on TaDa Gaming's site and you land on a longer English write-up: full pay ladder, Extra Bet mechanics, an RTP figure JILI's card doesn't publish. Two providers, one game ID. We lead with JILI for the name Philippines players recognise and cite TaDa whenever a number only appears on their page.

Both providers run demo builds for ID 223. How to use free play without mistaking it for a cash forecast: demo guide.

How the board pays

Wins read left to right across five fixed lines. Land three matching symbols on a line and the payout gets multiplied by whatever value is sitting in the center slot of the special reel that spin — that's TaDa's own stated rule. Miss the line entirely and the special reel does nothing for that stake.

So you are tracking two things at once: the nine gem cells and the multiplier lane. The same three-of-a-kind under 15× and under 1× are different outcomes. In demo, watch that center slot on every paying spin before you judge the title by gem colours alone.

Garuda wild

TaDa's paytable names the wild Garuda (Golden Garuda). It substitutes for ordinary symbols and pays 3× bet for three-of-a-kind — the top line pay before any special-reel multiplier. Older reviews sometimes called it a "diamond wild"; that does not match TaDa's paytable. Full ladder: symbols & paytable.

The special reel — every spin's second story

TaDa lists the special-reel multipliers as 1×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 10×, 15×. With Extra Bet off, 1× stays in that pool, so plenty of paying lines get no extra lift at all. Switch Extra Bet on and TaDa states 1× drops out of the pool — you're paying more per spin specifically to remove the dead multiplier and unlock a stronger wheel path. That's a cost trade you can price out, not a hidden edge.

Lucky Wheel — the spike lane

Land the wheel symbol in the center of the special reel and the round moves to the Lucky Wheel. TaDa's prize ladder runs from small single-digit multiples up to 1,000× base wager, with plenty of stops in between. This is the sequel's actual selling point — a standalone prize draw, not a free-spins substitute.

Extra Bet, without the superstition

Extra Bet adds 50% to whatever you're staking on that spin, per TaDa's copy. In exchange, 1× leaves the special reel's pool and the Lucky Wheel path improves. It isn't insurance and it doesn't refund. If your session budget can't absorb that uplift for a full block of spins, leave it off.

Stake caps and when to toggle it: strategy.

Where the numbers disagree

Provider product cards agree on Medium (MED) volatility and a headline max win of 10,000×. TaDa's own long-form page then repeats a separate figure, 15,025×, a few paragraphs down, and states an RTP of 94.38%. Meanwhile most third-party review sites — plus the old fortunegems-2.com archive — keep printing 97%, a number that isn't anywhere on the JILI card we checked.

Picking whichever number sounds best doesn't resolve that. We lead with the card figures, flag TaDa's body-copy number as a separate claim, and label 97% as third-party, full stop. Complete breakdown: RTP page.

What's missing on purpose

No free-spins bonus round. No scatter-triggered bonus game. No feature-buy menu. If another site's template pasted a "buy free spins" box onto this page, that box belongs to a different game. JILI's short marketing blurb does use the word "Scatter" near its Lucky Wheel description; mechanically we follow TaDa's own text, which calls it a wheel symbol on the special reel. We're not inventing a free-spins chapter to match a marketing word.

What a normal session feels like

Expect stretches of small line wins on low multipliers — busy board, modest totals. Then a 10×–15× or a Lucky Wheel hit flips the mood for a couple of minutes. Neither pattern changes the long-run figures on the product pages.

If you only enjoy the game when the wheel opens, quiet stretches will feel empty. Decide that in demo before you raise a cash stake.
